Rodrigo Diaz (El Cid) (1043 - 1099) Legend has it El Cid never lost a battle. He led a life of high adventure serving both Christian and Muslim rulers but is most noted for his successful military campaigns to drive out the Berbers during the Reconquista of Spain.
The man behind Ruy Diaz is 29 years old (birthday; September 11, 1976), born in Cuba, came to Florida in 1995 as a refugee where he continues to live. He is now happy to be American and a lover of freedom, democracy and the Capitalist/free market system.
