Gerald Cambrensis (Gerald de Barry), was born in Pembrokeshire, Wales, and after studying in Paris he became Archbishop of Brecknock in 1176. Refused the opportunity to become Archbishop of Canterbury, he sulked back to Paris, he returned to Wales, and accompanied Henry 11 on a trip to Ireland, where he became the first to describe Irish music. He hated Cistercians for their greed, and was a prolific writer and traveller. he undertook many journeys to get people to join the Crusades. He was briefly impeached for being addicted to witchcraft. He died between 1216 and 1220.

Behind the computer screen is an artist and published author, who has also written for the Guardian and other periodicals. He is 47 (but doesn't look it!), and good looking, and enjoys shocking people. He has been known to dress up in Muslim women's clothes and jump out at his visitors.
